I know, it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged and I still haven’t blogged photos from England! I’m actually pretty behind on posts, but instead of playing catch up, I’m going to blog my shoot from this weekend.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of capturing Amanda and Paul’s wedding which was extra special for me, because Amanda and I used to work together (in my previous life as a speech therapist). Knowing Amanda, I knew it’d be a good time, but I’m not sure I was prepared for how awesome an event it would be! The wedding and reception took place at The Loft in Montclair, NJ – a beautiful space. Amanda, Paul, their families and friends were such a blast to be around and to photograph. Truly, it was a perfect end to the 2009 wedding season!

During the making of this comedic shot, Amanda was only slightly injured…

I don’t normally put family portraits on my blog or even website, but there is just something about this photograph (the couches were all Amanda’s idea) that I really love.

First dance.

Fake dancing.

Real dancing.

It took a bit of effort to get Paul on the dancefloor…

But he did alright once he got there!

What a beautiful bride! That first photo is absolutely stunning – she looks like she stepped out of a vintage copy of Vogue. Great work, as always. Glad to see you’re back to blogging!
