Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Sammy, Cecelia and Marco – they just turned two! Back in December when I photographed them it was snowy and cold, so we stayed indoors. This time ’round we headed over to Battery Park – a favorite location of mine. It was hot, hot, hot yesterday, but these three (and mom!) were total troopers. No upsets at all, which is always great.

After some time in the sun, we all needed to cool off, so we made our way to one of Battery Park’s playgrounds. It is really nice when your ‘work’ brings you to a sprinkler park!

The sprinklers were a bit tricky – they turned on and off with no warning!

A favorite shot of mine!

Seriously, these three were total angels for two straight hours! I thought they’d be upset leaving the water (to be honest, I was a little upset!), but they were completely okay. The lollypops may have helped – kudos to mom for being well-prepared!

We headed back home where they washed the sand and lollypop off and had some lunch.

That face! Too cute for words.

Thanks for a fun morning!!!

Battery Park Kids Shoot – Triple the Fun!
Urbanbaby.com Feature – Best New York City Kids Photographers!
Hello everyone!
I’m currently in Jamaica enjoying a bit of rest and relaxation after photographing an amazing destination wedding. It’s been a bumpy (very) ride here, but I’m happy to say that I’m getting a bit of rest and things have definitely calmed down.
A few weeks ago I was contacted by a writer for Urbanbaby.com for an interview about my kids photography. I’m so happy to share with you that the story has posted!
Please check it out here: You Ought To Be In Pictures

Please stay tuned as I hope to post Jamaica wedding photos today as well.
Newborn Shoot and Baby Announcements – Meet Marley
Hello friends!
It has been a long time, I know! I haven’t been slacking in the area of taking photos, just in the area of blogging them!
I photographed the adorable (and so so tiny) Marley a few weeks ago. Here are some of my favorite images and the announcement designed by my talented sister!
Congratulations, again, Seth and Janine!

Trifold announcement front and back (designed by Miss April Hill):

Janine and Marley

St. Baldrick’s Foundation
I am honored to have had the opportunity to photograph participants at Northport’s 2009 St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser again this year. If you haven’t heard of St. Baldrick’s, it is the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research.
I photographed over 150 ‘shavees’ both adults and kids, boys and girls.Congratulations to everyone who participated. Hope to see you again in 2010!

Preschool Shoots
This round of Candid Kid School Photos are complete. I had a wonderful time taking photographs of such adorable preschoolers. All of the staff and kids were such a pleasure to be around. While taking pictures I had the chance to do a bit of goofing around with the kids. We made cameras out of legos, played in the snow, sang and danced to Laurie Berkner and even did some yoga with Lauren from Bija Kids!
As parents give me permission, I’ll add more images to this post, but for now I leave you with one of my favorite shots!
A big thank you to everyone at Rory’s Room, Parker’s Place and Hudson’s House for a fun time!

Candid Kids School Photos!
My shooting schedule has been one thing after another, after another and I love it! It feels fantastic and I’m grateful to be so busy. However, with this busyness, I do realize I have been neglecting my little blog. That does not feel so fantastic.
Yesterday I had my first of many pre-school photo shoots! We’re not talking your boring old school photos. These are totally candid and totally fun. I had a blast capturing the kids at Rory’s Room in Brooklyn, NY. The kids and I had lots of great laughs which resulted in totally adorable images.
For now, I’m posting my flyer… but soon there will be some photos up. Just want to give parents the first look.

Family Shoot – Parker, Rory & Hudson
This morning I headed back to Brooklyn to photograph Parker, Rory and Hudson. Camera shy these three were not! I had such a blast playing with them – the time flew by. Here are a few of my favorite shots. Thanks for such a fun morning guys!

Newborn Shoot – Alex
Today I had the pleasure of spending time with little Alex (just six weeks old!) and his mom. Alex was a total trooper, staying awake the entire time (the image with his eyes shut he was faking it!). There was also something sort of moving about photographing a newborn as our new president was being sworn into office.
Here are a few shots from today.
I photographed him through the mesh of his crib. The resulting texture made me think of an aged photo so I played a bit with the image.

Alex acting.

Probably my favorite… so far.

babies… babies… babies!
On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable set of triplets. I love, love, love how they interacted with one another and I’m really pleased with the way the photos turned out. I think all this snow has put me in a black and white mood!
Enjoy.

More Halloween Fun!
This Halloween I realized that children in Halloween costumes are by far the cutest sight ever!
I had such a fantastic time on spending my halloween night with some of the most fun kids on the Upper West Side. Nothing spooky about this event, it was all around adorableness! Here are a few highlights.
A lovely little tiger…

A little devil…

A pretty princess…

A butterfly…

A tootsie roll…

An astronaut…

I just loved the way he looked, asleep through his mom’s wing.
The little tiger truly outlasted all the other guests. I felt it appropriate she wave this blog goodbye ![]()
